The rack’s arrived, thanks to delivery by Ebayer Skyebrad – I dont think Ive ever met a nicer, more honest and straightforward bloke. Pure gold. In the end I got the rack for free – delivered! He is mad keen to start overlanding with his 4 kids and lovely R-plate 130 so we had a good natter and I think we will sink a few pints at Billing.
The rack is ideal – much lighter than my existing monster and a far more sensible design for the task I have in mind for it. Hopefully the beastie will come home from the vet’s over the next couple of days and I can hoik off the old rack (with roof tent, awning, HiLift, sand ladder bracket, etc etc) and sort out the new one. And then look smug when the wagon weighs about a hundredweight less and rolls less
